Conceited presents Syrus, The Gresham Flyers and The Michelles live @ The Pleasure Unit, 28th January 06

Blimey, what can I say? Every gig night is a surprise and not just for the bands and the people coming but for us organisers as well.

And what a surprise it was Saturday night! The music was superb, thanks to our fabulous bands and to our DJs and the great amount of people who showed up left me speechless – and I wasn’t even drunk…

Pop and rock beats merged beautifully with Syrus, The Gresham Flyers and The Michelles and the DJ sets went from 1960s to 1990s psychedelia, punk and soul to some great anthems from the early days of Britpop – ‘So Young’, anyone?

I certainly danced, I am sure you guys did too. I have photographic evidence :)
